126. The Art of Living Fully: Embracing Excitement and Anticipation

Hey there, friends! I'm back with a bang in a brand-new season of the Positively You Podcast. Today we are jumping into a solo episode about the magical practice of embracing excitement and anticipation.

Discover how shifting from past reflections to present joy can supercharge your positivity and breathe new life into your days.

Trust me, this quick episode is packed with inspiration, insights, and of course a splash of my signature positivity!

First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for hitting that play button and joining me on this incredible journey. Your support and enthusiasm mean the world to me, and I can't wait to dive into today's solo episode with you.

Alright, let's get into the good stuff! Today's episode is going to be a little different, a bit more personal. I'm introducing a new segment to the podcast – a glimpse into what's happening in my world. I want to share what I'm reading, what's tickling my taste buds, and what's lighting up my heart. My aim is to create a closer connection with you and bring a little extra positivity and inspiration to your day.

What I’m Reading

Let's start with my recent reading adventures. Now, you might know that I'm a bit of a self-proclaimed nerd – I'm all about expanding my horizons and soaking up knowledge. Lately, I've been diving into a book called "The Hidden Life of Trees", and let me tell you, it's been an eye-opener. Who knew that trees are social beings with their own forms of communication? Learning about their intricate root systems and the way they support each other has been truly fascinating.

On the flip side, I've also been indulging my love for fantasy romance. Yep, I'm a fan of the "Court of Thorns and Roses" series by Sarah J. Mass. It's my guilty pleasure, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Sometimes, taking a break from the educational stuff and diving into a world of magic and romance is just what the soul needs.

What I’m Eating

Now, let's talk food – because who doesn't love a good culinary adventure? Lately, I've been all about this protein ranch dip hack. You know, getting in those veggies can be a challenge, but this dip has been a game-changer. Greek yogurt mixed with ranch seasoning – it's like a party for your taste buds. And the best part? It's a sneaky way to up your protein intake and get those veggies in. Win-win, right?

Now, here's the golden nugget I'm excited to share with you today.

I'm out on the lake with some friends, paddleboarding and having a blast. One of my friends throws out this question : "What are you excited about in the next two months?" It's like a spark of anticipation and positivity hit me in that moment.

And that got me thinking – why not shift our focus from reflecting on the past to embracing what's coming up? Instead of just going through the motions, what if we actively sought out things to look forward to? This practice fills our lives with vibrancy and energy. So, I invite you to join me in this beautiful practice of embracing excitement and anticipation.

Think about it

What's on the horizon for you in the next 30 to 60 days? It could be something big or small, a personal milestone or a simple pleasure. For me, it's my 15-year anniversary next month, and I can't wait to celebrate. I'm challenging you to share your excitement too! Let's turn this podcast into a two-way conversation. Hop on over to my Instagram @positively.jessie and slide into my DMs. I want to know what you're loving and looking forward to.

As we wrap up this episode, remember that excitement and positivity are contagious. Embracing what's coming up with open arms infuses every aspect of our lives with a sense of purpose and zest. So, let's make a pact to live life fully, to seek out those things that light us up, and to journey together towards a life that we're absolutely obsessed with.

Thank you for being here, for pressing play, and for being a part of this incredible community.

Until next week, my friends, keep that positive energy flowing and remember – you've got the power to shape your world. Have an absolutely amazing day!
