  • 3:12 Tip 1: Make Your Bed

  • 4:25 Tip 2: Get Outside

Tip 1: Make Your Bed

It’s number one on most of my lists for good reason, this little trick packs a powerful punch!

Tip 2: Get Outside

Fresh air and sunshine on your face does a world of wonders.

Tip 3: Toss the Phone

Has scrolling when you’re having a bad day ever made it better? The answer is probably no. Get off the phone, put it in a different room, silence your notifications….ditch it completely.

Tip 4: Mindset Reset

A bad part of your day doesn’t have to mean the whole day is bad. A bad morning can happen but you can reset and not allow it to continue into the rest of your day.

Tip 5: Have Some Veggies

While a bad day usually has us wanting to drown our sorrows in a bowl of ice cream or a handful of chips, probably not the most helpful thing in the world and really what our body needs is actual nourishment.

Tip 6: Phone a Friend

Instead of calling just to vent, call to connect. That simple shift in intention makes all the difference in being able to ditch the bad day rather than staying stuck in it by rehashing everything.

Tip 7: Start Completely Over

Sometimes the day is just a bad day not matter what and you’re just done. So go to sleep and start over. But a trick I love is using sleep to reset without waiting for a new day. Cue the midday nap. Trick yourself into resetting with sleep. A quick nap is a great way to reset a bad day.
